Could you be a Judge for the UK Pantomime Awards?
After a turbulent year for the Arts, we are thrilled to announce the return of The Pantomime Awards, which will be brought to you by the UK Pantomime Association, a newly formed organisation founded to celebrate all aspects of pantomime.
“We’re looking forward to getting back into theatres and recruiting a new team of judges to help us celebrate and champion excellence across Pantoland. After a challenging 2020 season, the industry is gearing up and raring to go for 2021, ready to share that much needed panto magic with audiences across the UK. Pantomime is a vital part of our cultural heritage and theatrical landscape, which we will honour in a new-look awards ceremony in early 2022.”
Simon Sladen, Chair, UK Pantomime Association

Interested in applying?
As a new organisation, the UK Pantomime Association aims to celebrate, support and champion diversity and inclusivity in all its work.
We are currently recruiting for judges and aspire to engage a diverse group of volunteers. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and acknowledge the importance of lived experience, as well as the significant role local audiences play in regional pantomime’s production and reception. For the 2021/22 season, we particularly welcome applications from disabled and neurodiverse individuals, members of the LGBTQI+ community, and people from the global majority, in particular those with African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, North African, South Asian or South East Asian heritage, as these voices are currently underrepresented in our team.
All prospective Judges will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire to outline their relevant experience and submit a written response to a short extract from a streamed pantomime recording.
